  1. Oopsie! Anitra here. Just want to make a quick correction--Storing your powdered dairy in a plastic bag keeps the moisture from coming iIN, making your powder clumpy.

  2. Did you say that you need to store unopened butter powder in the refrigerator or only when it is opened? What about powdered milk? Thanks for all you do to help us in our food storage and healthy eating!!

  3. Lindy asked: Do you have to store your powdered dairy products in the fridge before opening them? The answer is no. Only once they've been opened. No need to store powdered milk or buttermilk in the fridge, even after they've been opened. Thanks for the question.

  4. Anitra, I love your smart minutes! They're great. Thanks for making them. Is there a place where we can go to view the links to all of your smart minutes?

  5. Anitra, I use buttermilk often to marinate chicken before grilling, do you think powdered buttermilk could be used interchangeably for marinating as well? I hate making a trip to the store just for that if the powdered would work just as well.

  6. Yes, Ruby... I almost NEVER buy fresh buttermilk anymore. Just re-constitute buttermilk powder, & it'll work just as well :)
